Celebrating 1776! is dedicated to the exploration of the themes of freedom and democracy, as outlined in the Declaration of Independence, through the performing arts and education. Founded by Governor Edward G. Rendell, Celebrating 1776! presents a first set of programs and activities in the summer of 2026 during America’s 250th birthday celebrations.
